Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a game where players control characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and others in the Flower Kingdom. They go through levels, avoiding enemies like Goombas and Piranha Plants, and using Warp Pipes to move around. In this game, players can find special things called 'Wonder Seeds' hidden in each stage.
There are new power-ups too, like a fruit that turns characters into elephants, a flower to make bubbles to catch enemies, and a mushroom giving a drill hat to burrow underground or through ceilings. A unique thing in this game is the Wonder Flower, which causes strange effects like live pipes or lots of enemies. These effects stop when players get a Wonder Seed or move away from them.

In the game's story, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Princess Daisy, along with Toads, Yoshis, and other characters, visit the Flower Kingdom after getting an invite from Prince Florian, its ruler. They gather to see a special flower called the Wonder Flower, capable of changing reality.
But Bowser crashes the event, grabs the Wonder Flower, and uses its power to turn into a huge flying castle, capturing the Flower Kingdom's people. Mario steps up to help Prince Florian defeat Bowser and restore order. Prince Florian joins the group, wearing badges that boost their abilities.
To save the captured citizens, Mario, and friends need to collect special Wonder Seeds and six Royal Seeds. These treasures will help them access Bowser's castle, guarded by tough enemies. They travel through battleships and face Bowser Jr. in different palaces while freeing regions from Bowser's control.
Finally, they confront Bowser in his castle, where he reveals a plan to control everything with the Wonder Flower's power. But Mario's team defeats Bowser, saving the Flower Kingdom and sending Bowser and his allies running away.
