Survivor Series: WarGames (2023)

The Survivor Series: WarGames in 2023 was a big event in wrestling. It happened on November 25 in Rosemont, Illinois, at the Allstate Arena. This place had seen Survivor Series before in 1989 and 2019. This time, they brought back the WarGames concept that started in WWE the year before. It was a special event for Raw and SmackDown wrestlers, with no traditional Survivor Series matches.

There were five matches that took place that day. The first match was the women's WarGames match. Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Shotzi, and Becky Lynch won against Damage CTRL. It was intense and got things rolling for the night. Then came the main event - a men's WarGames match from Raw. Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and Randy Orton went up against The Judgment Day and Drew McIntyre. It was a wild match with lots of action, and Cody Rhodes' team emerged victorious.

This event was special for some big comebacks. Randy Orton and R-Truth made their returns after being out due to injuries since May and November 2022. But perhaps the most anticipated return was CM Punk. He hadn't been in a WWE ring since the 2014 Royal Rumble. Although he had appeared on WWE Backstage on FS1 in 2019–20, seeing him at Survivor Series was a huge moment for fans.
