Take Flight Avatar Frontiers of Pandora
In the "Take Flight" quest of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, follow these steps to successfully bond with your Ikran and take to the skies of Pandora:
Meet Nefika at the Entrance to the Ikran Rookery:
Complete the main quest "The Eye of Eywa."
Head south from the Glade of Light to the Ikran Rookery, located near the River's Run Na'vi Camp.
Pass Time by the Fire Until Nefika Arrives:
Interact with the campfire to trigger a cutscene with Nefika and Eetu, leading you into the rookery.
Climb the Rookery to be Chosen by an Ikran:
Navigate through the circular stone basin, overcoming obstacles like Mermaid Tails and Gateway Lilies.
Reach the top of the rookery to proceed.
Attempt to Bond with the Ikran in the Rookery:
Encounter your ikran on top of a waterfall.
Hold the interact button to "soothe" the ikran, but it will fly away.
Keep Climbing Up the Rookery:
Use blue Mermaid Tail leaves and Lift Vines to ascend.
Exercise caution with floating platforms and perform running charged jumps for extended distances.
Approach the Ikran Again:
Encounter the ikran once more after climbing to the top.
Hold the interact button to soothe the ikran, but it will fly away again.
Keep Climbing the Rookery... Again:
Navigate through tunnels of vines, encounter Eetu multiple times, and use Lift Vines to reach higher platforms.
Soothe the Ikran at the Top of the Rookery:
Reach the top, where several ikran are present.
Hold the interact button to soothe your ikran despite its resistance.
After three attempts, successfully bond with your ikran.
Customize Your Ikran:
Choose a name and coat pattern for your ikran.
Note that the name is permanent, but coat patterns can be changed later.
Enjoy Your First Flight:
Undergo a short tutorial on flying controls and managing your ikran's stamina.
