Eight players build teams in the Dota Auto Chess mod-inspired game Teamfight Tactics, where they compete to be the last player standing. Between rounds, players can strategically place units on the battlefield, which is made up of hexagons, on their side of the game board. Each round starts with a quick fight between two players who were either paired up at random for that round or faced off against artificially intelligent foes. In the rounds against the computer-controlled enemies, each enemy has a chance to drop gold, units, or other items that the player can use. The health of an opponent is determined by their number of still-alive units and the set damage per round.
