Tekken 8 Plot
In Tekken 8's story, six months after Heihachi Mishima's death, Jin Kazama and his allies try to stop his father, Kazuya Mishima, from causing chaos in Manhattan. But when Jin witnesses Kazuya's destructive power, he loses control of his own devil powers. Kazuya announces a new King of Iron Fist Tournament, where nations must fight each other for survival.
As the tournament approaches, Jin realizes he can't access his devil powers anymore. He decides to join the qualifiers in Japan. Along the way, he meets Reina, a fighter who reminds him of his grandfather. But Reina has her own secrets – she's Heihachi's daughter and carries the devil gene too.
In Rome, Claudio, Zafina, and Xiaoyu learn about Jin's plan to stop Kazuya. They know they need Jin's help to defeat Kazuya, who's become more powerful than ever. At the tournament, Jin faces challenges and learns to overcome his fears. But it's all a trap set by Kazuya to capture Zafina. Kazuya resurrects a powerful demon, Azazel, and absorbs its power to become a True Devil.
Jin realizes he must reclaim his full devil powers to stop Kazuya. He journeys to his birthplace, Yakushima, where the final battle unfolds. Allies join forces to fight Kazuya's army, and Reina sacrifices herself to help Jin. Inside his own mind, Jin confronts his devil side and accepts his powers. With newfound control, he defeats Kazuya and purges both their devil genes. Jin spares Kazuya's life and leaves with Xiaoyu, while Reina vows to continue her fight in her devil form. As the world celebrates freedom from Kazuya's tyranny, Jin's journey is far from over. But with allies by his side, he's ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead.
