This quest serves as a pivotal point in the game's narrative, immersing players in a riveting journey to unveil the secrets of this cutting-edge technology while furthering the overarching storyline of Starfield.

How To Complete The Best There Is?

Completing "The Best There Is" quest in Starfield involves several steps:

  1. After finishing the "Breaking the Bank" mission, talk to Naeva and Jasmine. They'll send you to find Huan Daiyu in The Well to access the SY-920.

  2. Travel to The Well, locate Huan using the quest marker, and have a conversation with her. Agree to a plan and go with her crew to the SY-920.

  3. Once on the SY-920, head downstairs and talk to Huan via the intercom to review the plan. Your goal is to find a way to the barracks and get a uniform. The barracks door is locked, so either pick the lock or speak with Elijah. If you choose the latter, trick a guard into leaving, then grab the key.

  4. Use the key to enter the maintenance tunnels, and exit through a marked point, preferably the bathroom.

  5. After leaving the bathroom, enter the room on the right to grab an Ensign Uniform from a table. Wearing this uniform will allow you to move around freely without raising suspicion.

  6. Follow the quest marker to the Command Bay entrance, where you'll encounter a Commander. Tell him you're reporting for duty in the Command Bay to gain access.

  7. Take the elevator to the Archives room. You can either use the tunnels again or opt for persuasion to reach a computer containing information about ComSpike. Using the tunnels is simpler. In the Utility Room near the Operations Center, you'll find the hidden tunnels.

  8. In the Archives room, access the Data Access Computer and follow these steps: Projects, ComSpike, Upgrade Security Clearance, Project Lead, Permissions, and locate ComSpike in Engineering Bay 4. Return to your previous location using the quest marker and take the Engineering Bay 4 Elevator.

  9. Talk to Huan, and she'll direct you to Dr. Vogel in the Research Labs. Before speaking with the doctor, save your game. When Vogel asks about ComSpike, you have three choices: Betray Huan, Persuade Dr. Vogel, or Use the Spaced Trait. You can also pickpocket the keycard and password.

  10. Betraying Huan is not recommended, and using the Spaced Trait may not be suitable for some companions. So, the safer options are persuading Dr. Vogel or pickpocketing, especially if your initial persuasion fails.

  11. With the keycard and password, get a Pilot Uniform from nearby lockers to avoid suspicion. Follow a quest marker and use a computer to schedule a flight test. This way, you won't face hostility when starting the Prototype Ship.

  12. Set the Key as your destination, report back to Delgado, and head to the UC SysDef to report to Commander Ikande. You'll now live the life of a double agent.

Starfield

Starfield, an action role-playing game from Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, made its debut announcement at E3 in 2018. This highly anticipated title marks Bethesda's first new intellectual property in a quarter of a century. Released on September 6, 2023, for Windows and Xbox Series X/S, the game is set in a captivating space-themed environment.

Critics generally responded positively to Starfield, commending its expansive open-world design, immersive setting, and captivating soundtrack. However, the game's storyline garnered mixed reviews, showing that opinions on this aspect of the game vary among players.

With its departure from established Bethesda franchises like The Elder Scrolls and Fallout, Starfield represents a significant leap into the science fiction genre for the studio. As players explore the vast reaches of space and navigate the complexities of the game's universe, it has generated excitement and intrigue among both fans and critics alike.

Starfield Gameplay

Starfield is an action role-playing video game that offers players the flexibility to switch between first-person and third-person perspectives at any point in the game. Set within an open-world environment located in the Milky Way galaxy, this vast game world encompasses both fictional and non-fictional planetary systems. Players have the freedom to land on over 1,000 planets, along with an unspecified number of moons and space stations.

The landscapes within the game are primarily procedurally generated, with subsequent manual modifications and the addition of handcrafted content. The game dynamically generates terrain, alien flora and fauna, and points of interest as players approach different planets.

As players explore this expansive universe, they encounter various non-playable characters (NPCs) who may join their crew. These NPCs can assist in combat, carry items, or engage in dialogues on the player's behalf. Some NPCs even respond to the player's choices, making for immersive interactions. Players can customize their silent protagonist character at the beginning of the game, selecting body type, appearance, background, and traits, each with its own advantages and disadvantages.

As the player progresses, they gain experience, level up, and unlock abilities across five distinct skill trees: Physical, Social, Combat, Science, and Tech. The game offers a wide range of customizable weapons, jetpacks for improved mobility, and the ability to construct outposts and spaceships.

These spaceships can be customized and used for trading, combat, and exploration, with ship combat involving power allocation and boarding options for other NPC-piloted ships. Resource scanning and extraction, outpost construction, and crafting are also integral aspects of the gameplay.
