Red finally gets an audience with Marvin in The Blacklist Season 9 finale. Although Red could have killed him at that moment, he chooses to hold off and allow Marvin to go out on his own terms. Shortly after Marvin is released from prison, he shoots and kills himself in his car.However, Marvin has one more order of business before ending his life.
He addresses Wujing before leaving the prison and reveals that Red is a CI who has been working with the FBI for years. Red is the reason that Wujing and many other blacklisters are in jail. Marvin then gives Wujing a list of blacklisters who Red has put away.
In the final scene of The Blacklist Season 9 finale, Wujing successfully makes his escape from prison. However, he reveals that now he does not plan to go home.
