The Crew Motorfest Game

The Crew Motorfest is a new racing video game made by Ubisoft Ivory Tower. It's the third game in The Crew series and follows The Crew 2 from 2018. You can play it on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game will come out on September 14, 2023, but if you pre-order the special Gold or Ultimate editions or use Ubisoft+, you can get it on September 11, 2023. Instead of the whole United States like before, this time you'll be racing around a smaller version of the Hawaiian island called Oʻahu.

This game was created by a team at Ubisoft Ivory Tower. At first, it was meant to be an extra part for The Crew 2, but they changed their plans because some ideas didn't work with the current game. While they were making it, they called it Project Orlando until October 2022 when they revealed the real name and where it's set. Before they chose 'Motorfest,' they were thinking about calling it 'The Crew Motorcamp.'

Testing started on PC on February 1, 2023, and they'll test it on consoles later. People think Motorfest is similar to the first two Test Drive Unlimited games, which some of the same people who worked on this also worked on before, and they both have Oʻahu as the main place to play.

The Crew Motorfest Gameplay

In The Crew Motorfest, the game world is a smaller version of the Hawaiian island of Oʻahu. This means you can drive around and explore this beautiful island. The game is built around a big festival, kind of like a party, where you can find all the different things to do in the game. This setup is similar to how things work in the Forza Horizon games, where there's a big festival as the central hub for all the activities.

The gameplay is a lot like the earlier games in The Crew series. You can play with other people online, and they call this group of players a "crew." So, you and your crew can race together or do other activities in the game. But what's cool is that you're not just limited to driving cars. You can also control other types of vehicles like planes and boats. So, it's not just about cars; it's about all kinds of vehicles and having fun with your friends in this big festival world.
