In the end of The Deep House, Ben and Tina's fate takes a dark turn as they become entangled in the sinister secrets of the sunken mansion. The discovery of a locked door in the kitchen, sealed with a large crucifix, intensifies the sense of foreboding. Despite the escalating dangers, Ben's curiosity leads them into the basement, where they encounter two chained individuals.
However, their ill-fated decision to delve deeper into the house triggers a chain of events. Unbeknownst to them, the mansion harbors an evil presence that thrives on satanic rituals and has granted immortality to the couple who perpetrated heinous acts against children in the past. The house's supernatural power is evident in its ability to preserve the interior, unaffected by the passage of time or the submergence in water.
As the couple's equipment malfunctions, indicating the malevolent force at work, their attempts to escape prove futile. The Deep House Plot
Ben and Tina, a young engaged couple from New York and enthusiastic YouTubers, embark on a journey across Europe to document their experiences in reputedly haunted houses. Their latest destination takes them to southwest France, where they hope to explore a submerged sanatorium in an artificial lake.
However, upon arrival, they discover that the location has become a popular tourist spot. A local named Pierre offers to lead them to a secluded area of the lake known as the forest of Chanteloup, where a well-preserved mansion awaits. As Ben and Tina venture into the submerged mansion, they quickly notice strange occurrences.
Mysterious voices and noises surround them, their drone's motion tracker detects movement without any apparent cause, and their electronic devices malfunction inexplicably. Exploring further, they come across rooms filled with disturbing photographs, posters, and news articles featuring missing children, along with satanic symbols and violent scratches on the front door.
In the kitchen, they encounter a door blocked by a large crucifix. Upon opening it, they discover a room containing two corpses suspended above a satanic pentagram, as well as a side room filled with preserved human body parts. Desperate to escape, Ben and Tina find themselves trapped inside the house when the window they entered through is suddenly blocked by a brick wall.
Their attempts to locate other exits prove fruitless. While attempting to open a grate in the cellar, Tina is suddenly attacked, but Ben inexplicably denies witnessing anything out of the ordinary. In a shocking turn of events, Ben removes the masks from the corpses, revealing them to be the Montégnac family, former owners of the house. The corpses come to life and chase Ben and Tina throughout the mansion.
As they make a final attempt to escape through a chimney, it collapses, separating them on different floors. In an upstairs bedroom, Ben discovers a family tree that reveals Pierre to be the Montégnac's son, who intentionally lured them to the house. He is then attacked by Sarah, the Montégnacs' undead daughter, and becomes possessed by her.
Tina eventually finds Ben and follows him to a hidden sitting room in the basement. Through a gruesome film reel, Sarah reveals the dark truth: Mr. Montégnac and Pierre kidnapped children from the surrounding area for satanic sacrifices. The Montégnacs and Sarah were eventually killed by a vengeful mob, but Pierre managed to escape.
Under Sarah's influence, Ben tries to convince Tina to join the Montégnac family. Faced with imminent danger and running out of air, Tina flees into a secret satanic chapel, where she discovers an escape route. Ben catches up to her and attempts to kill her, but Tina defends herself with a diving knife, breaking Ben free from the possession.
However, before they can escape together, Sarah fatally stabs Ben. The Montégnacs then turn their attention to Tina, but she manages to climb the shaft leading back into the lake. Unfortunately, Tina drowns just below the water's surface, her last bit of air depleted. After the credits, a short scene reveals two new divers overlooking the lake, accompanied by Pierre.
