A thousand years in the past, the world was in chaos, with humanity on the verge of extinction due to the menace posed by six dark lords. However, a glimmer of hope emerged in the form of six heroes endowed with extraordinary powers. These heroes utilized their abilities to combat the dark lords, one by one, until only Leonis remained.
In the year 447 of the Holy Calendar, Leonis Death Magnus, also known as the Undead King, was defeated by the heroes, and his capital, Necrozoa, was captured. Leonis sealed himself using a powerful barrier and a resurrection spell. Before casting the spell, he declared his defeat on this occasion but vowed to return after a thousand years to conquer humanity, as he believed it was his mission granted by the Goddess Of Rebellion.
Now, in the current era, after millennia have passed, a young girl named Riselia Ray stumbles upon the ancient ruins of Leonis's mausoleum and accidentally releases the dark lord from his seal. However, to the dark lord's surprise, he awakens in the body of a human child. Believing him to be a refugee, Riselia takes him under her care.
This marks the commencement of Leonis's quest to unravel the mysteries of his prolonged slumber. Trapped in the body of a young boy, he crosses paths with Riselia, the girl responsible for his awakening.
