Who Plays Janet in The Good Place?
D'Arcy Beth Carden, formerly known as Darcy Beth Erokan, is an American comedian and actress who has gained recognition for her prominent roles in popular television shows. She is best known for her portrayal of Janet in the NBC sitcom The Good Place, which aired from 2016 to 2020, and as Greta Gill in the Prime series A League of Their Own, which premiered in 2022.

The Good Place Plot
The series depicts an afterlife where humans are assigned to either the Good Place or the Bad Place based on their moral conduct in life. Eleanor and Jason mistakenly believe they have been placed in the Good Place and work with Chidi and Tahani to become better people.
However, they discover in the season finale that they are actually in an experimental Bad Place designed to torture each other. In subsequent seasons, Michael repeatedly erases their memories to restart the torture until they figure out the truth. They eventually appeal their case to the eternal Judge and are given a chance to return to Earth to prove their moral development.
Back on Earth, they participate in a research study and eventually propose a new system whereby humans can earn their way into the Good Place through moral development.
