In contrast, Chance and Blake have used their Playoff Passes but still have a steal. The recap is followed by the performances of D.Smooth and ALI who sang “Unaware”. Blake thought D.Smooth performed better, but Niall chose ALI. Chance liked the harmonies of both artists and thinks either could win, but he chose ALI. Kelly compared D.Smooth to artists from the 90s and described ALI's strengths to be in the runs and pitch. She ultimately chose ALI, but Chance attempted to steal D.Smooth. Kelly used her Playoff Pass to keep D.Smooth on her team.
Blake then paired Carlos Rising and Grace West for “I Told You So”. Carlos was worried about performing a country song for the first time, but Blake reminded him that country is always in the wheelhouse of a singer-songwriter. The coaches had mixed reviews, but ultimately, Blake chose Grace for her authenticity and potential in Nashville. Tiana Goss and Kate Cosentino performed “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”. Both artists performed well, but Kate was declared the winner by Niall due to her sass and willingness. Chance then successfully stole Tiana. Lastly, Holly Brand and Katie Beth Forakis performed “Lady Like”. Blake praised Holly for having a classic country voice, but Niall appreciated that Katie Beth had her own interpretation of the song. Chance enjoyed Holly's confidence, but Kelly ultimately chose Holly to stay on her team.
