The Wheel of Time Season 2 Trailer
The Wheel of Time Season 2 Episode 8 Plot
In the season finale, we get a glimpse of events from 3,000 years ago when the Dragon, Lews, sealed off Ishmael, one of the Forsaken. Ishmael had an unusual desire to stop the Wheel from turning and end the world, which might sound unreasonable. In the present day, the White Cloaks, led by Dain Bornhald and Eamon Valda, are planning an attack on Falme to help fight against the Seanchan invaders.
Meanwhile, Lanfear leads Moiraine and Lan through a mysterious portal called the Waysgate, but she leaves Rand behind. Moiraine and Lan must take a longer route into the city, crossing a beautiful beach. Lanfear claims to know a faster way but doesn't want them as "dead weight." Rand, after a touching speech from Lanfear where she claims to be the only one who truly cares for him, reluctantly agrees to follow her.
Perrin and his three warrior friends arrive in Falme, with Perrin being the only one among the group skilled enough to take on the Seanchan and Ishmael. Lanfear surprises Ishamael in his bedroom, claiming she plans to betray Rand and get him to join the dark side, but Ishamael is skeptical. The White Cloaks launch their attack, and Nyneave and Elayne prepare to use their captive to sneak into the kennels.
However, Renna threatens Egwene by cutting off her braid instead. Believing Lanfear betrayed him, Ishamael orders Padan Fain to offer Mat a cursed dagger to murder Rand. Mat cleverly escapes using the dagger tied to a cane. Nynaeve tries to use the One Power to heal Elayne, who was injured during the attack but faces difficulties.
