Through My Window Across the Sea Ending Explained
The truth is that both Raquel and Ares had been facing their own challenges throughout the year. Ares often questioned whether his decision to attend medical school was a mistake, while Raquel kept her impending novel publication a secret from Ares.
During a conversation, Ares confides in Raquel about how Vera helped him through his difficult times and recounts a drunken night where he woke up with his shirt on Vera but no memory of what happened. This revelation leaves Raquel and Ares at a crossroads, unsure of their next steps.
Eventually, Raquel decides to attend a party while Ares chooses to stay behind. At the party, Vera confesses to Ares that nothing actually happened between them, but Ares is furious with her for allowing Raquel to believe otherwise.
Meanwhile, the situation with the other two brothers is no better. Artemis proves to be a terrible boyfriend who lacks respect for Claudia, resulting in her rightfully ending their relationship. Apollo and Daniela experience tension as they navigate their differing desires for their relationship.
Yoshi, on the other hand, leads Anna on before making it clear that he is still not over Raquel, ultimately breaking her heart. It becomes evident that Yoshi needs to reevaluate his priorities. When Raquel leaves the party with Gregory, Yoshi impulsively steals someone's motorcycle and speeds away.
Tragedy strikes as Yoshi gets into an accident, falling off a cliff. Ares witnesses the accident and rushes to Gregory's side, attempting CPR, but sadly, he is unable to revive him. Witnessing Yoshi's lifeless body, Raquel also breaks down. The truth emerges that neither Ares nor Raquel had moved on with Vera or Gregory and had likely realized that they wanted to be together. However, before they could communicate their feelings, everything went wrong.
In the end of "Through My Window: Across The Sea," an upset Raquel confronts Ares, questioning why he couldn't save Yoshi. Though the question is unfair, Ares also shouldn't have blamed Raquel for distracting him throughout his school year and preventing him from taking action.
Raquel and Ares go their separate ways, with Ares returning to Stockholm to contemplate whether medical school is truly the right path for him. On the other hand, Yoshi had submitted Raquel's manuscript to a publishing house, and it had been approved to be turned into a novel.
While Vera texts Ares, it remains unclear whether he sends the apology message he was about to write to Raquel. The way Raquel closes her window suggests that either he didn't send it or she no longer cares. Ares realizes that he won't have another chance to reach Raquel through her window again.

Raquel, pursuing literature, and Ares, enrolled in medical school in Stockholm, mainly rely on phone conversations, seemingly disregarding their surroundings. While Raquel's behavior may be excusable, it's puzzling how Ares manages this amidst the pressures of medical school.
In Through My Window (2022), Raquel is depicted as a published author, but "Across The Sea" reveals that she merely has a manuscript ready and still needs to send it to a publisher. Yoshi, who still harbors feelings for Raquel, temporarily sets them aside to act as her agent. Both Ares and Raquel attract attention from admirers at their respective colleges, although nothing significant has occurred.
The plot of "Across the Sea" gains momentum when Ares surprises Raquel with a visit to his beach house, only to discover that his brothers and their friends are also present. The events that unfold during their time at the beach house form the central storyline.
While objectification abounds, tensions escalate when Ares realizes that Gregory was unaware of Raquel's relationship status, and Raquel learns that Vera, an obvious admirer of Ares, has joined them on the trip. This arrives at a time when Raquel and Ares acknowledge their growing distance and the need to work on their relationship.

Gregory then reveals that his former girlfriend dumped him for Ares, who had recently started dating another girl just two weeks prior. Although Raquel was aware of Ares' flirtatious nature from the beginning of their relationship, his past indifference now takes on greater significance.
Raquel's suspicions are further fueled when she sees a picture on Ares' phone of Vera wearing his shirt. No longer willing to dwell in her insecurities, Raquel initiates a game of truth or dare and confronts Ares directly, questioning whether he and Vera have been intimate. Both Ares and Vera remain silent, leading Raquel to conclude that she has been betrayed.
