In the period preceding his passing, Tim Keller's son, Michael, shared on his Twitter page that his father would be discharged from the hospital to receive hospice care at home.
On Friday, in a later post, Michael informed that "Timothy J. Keller, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, mentor, friend, pastor, and scholar, passed away this morning at his home. "Dad chose to wait until he was alone with Mom.
She lovingly kissed him on the forehead, and he peacefully took his final breath. We find solace in some of his last words... 'Leaving has no drawbacks for me, not even in the slightest,'" the statement conveyed.
