Tower of Fantasy is a free-to-play open-world action RPG developed by Hotta Studio, a Perfect World subsidiary. The game is set on the extraterrestrial planet "Aida" in the distant future, post a cataclysm that almost wiped out humanity and altered the planet's ecology with mysterious radioactive energy called Omnium. Players take on the role of a wanderer exploring Aida, battling mutants and hostile forces in a narrative-driven journey through the aftermath of a civilization-shaping catastrophe.

Tower of Fantasy Gameplay
Tower of Fantasy is a 3D "shared world" action RPG with a 3rd-person view. Players control customizable avatars exploring an open virtual world, engaging with non-player characters, and collecting items. The characters can perform various actions like running, jumping, climbing, and swimming, using vehicles for faster traversal. Special movements are limited by a stamina bar, and as characters interact with the world, they earn experience points to level up and improve combat stats.
Combat involves hack-and-slash mechanics with up to 3 equippable weapons, each with basic and charged attacks. A unique cooldown-based skill complements the arsenal, and switching weapons unleashes powerful discharge attacks. Dodging is crucial for evading enemy attacks, and well-timed dodges activate 'phantasia' mode, freezing time and granting a window for massive damage. Weapons have roles (offense, defense, support), elemental attack types, shatter statistics, and charge statistics, affecting their effectiveness in the game.
