Her family reveals this is an inherited trait to protect them, but it's now risky. Mei learns to control her transformations with the help of her friends.

During a ritual to suppress her powers, Mei decides to keep them and attends the concert, where her mother transforms into a giant red panda, causing chaos.
Mei confronts her mother, leading to a fight that accidentally knocks Ming unconscious.
