Valorant Challengers 2023

LOCK/IN VCT Brazil will host the first event of the 2023 Valorant Champions Tour, which will include 30 partner teams from the international leagues of EMEA, Pacific, and Americas, as well as two Chinese invited teams. It will be Riot Games' largest Valorant event, as well as the first look at the teams that will be a part of this new era in esports.

The off-season was hectic, with many changes in all regions, but the partner teams' rosters are ready for the first big tournament of 2023, before the start of the international leagues. We are now halfway through the bracket stage, with hometown favorites LOUD and South Korean side DRX surviving the “Alpha Bracket”. Viewership for the event has been consistently high, with the high-octane series between LOUD and NRG hitting a peak of over 870,000 viewers – making it one of the ten most popular matches in Valorant history.

Valorant VCT LOCK//IN 

VCT Lock/In Brazil is the first event of the 2023 VCT and will feature every partnered team from the VCT leagues in the Americas, Pacific, and Europe.

Throughout the event, teams will compete in front of a live audience at the 11,000-seat Ginásio do Ibirapuera indoor sporting arena. The winning league will receive an additional slot at VCT Masters 2023.

Following the conclusion of the tournament, the first competitive split of the 2023 season will begin with weekly LAN competition in the Americas, Pacific, and EMEA regions.
