Valorant is a team-based first-person tactical hero shooter set in the near future. Players embody Agents, hailing from diverse countries and cultures. Two teams of five players engage in attack or defense modes, with Agents wielding unique abilities, including ultimates charged through various means. Rounds commence with a "classic" pistol and signature ability charges.
An in-game economy hinges on round outcomes, kills, and objectives, facilitating weapon and ability charge purchases. The game features a range of firearms, each demanding precise player control for shooting accuracy. Presently, there are 22 agents, five initially unlocked, and others attainable through in-game currency called Kingdom Credits, earned via gameplay or tasks, which can also be used for cosmetic item acquisitions from agents' contracts.
