Introducing an exhilarating game mode to Valorant, Patch 7.0 is set to launch on June 27th, 2023, bringing with it the highly anticipated Team Deathmatch mode. In Team Deathmatch mode, players will engage in fast-paced battles, focusing solely on eliminating enemy players and maximising their kill count. The objective is simple: the team with the most kills at the end of the match emerges victorious.
This mode encourages players to showcase their individual combat skills and coordination with teammates. Each player will have the freedom to choose their preferred agents, enabling them to utilise unique abilities to gain an edge in combat. The fast respawn feature ensures that players can immediately jump back into the action after being eliminated, ensuring an uninterrupted adrenaline-fueled experience.
Valorant Team Deathmatch Gameplay
Valorant is an exciting team-based first-person tactical hero shooter that takes place in a near-futuristic setting. Players assume the roles of diverse Agents, each representing different countries and cultures from around the world. The primary game mode involves two teams, with five players on each side, taking turns as attackers and defenders.
In Valorant, Agents possess unique abilities that require charges, including a powerful ultimate ability that charges up through kills, deaths, orbs, or objectives. At the start of each round, players begin with a "classic" pistol and a set number of charges for their signature ability.
By engaging in gameplay, players can earn money based on round outcomes, kills, and completed objectives, which can be used to purchase additional weapons and ability charges.
A wide range of weapons is available in the game, including secondary guns like sidearms and primary guns such as submachine guns, shotguns, machine guns, assault rifles, and sniper rifles. Each weapon has its own shooting pattern that players must master to achieve accurate shots. The gameplay emphasizes skillful gunplay and strategic decision-making.
Currently, Valorant offers a diverse roster of 20 agents to choose from.
