Viewfinder Walkthrough: Chapter 1, Level 1
Chapter 1, Level 1.1
You find yourself in a messy office with a fallen filing cabinet. There's a gramophone on the desk at the entrance; interact with each gramophone to uncover more lore through soundbites. Proceed through the office, jump over the fallen filing cabinet, and step out into the courtyard.
In the courtyard, there's a central island connected to the rest by wooden bridges. Make your way to the central island, pick up the photo there, and hold it out in front of you as prompted on screen. Place the photo on the ground and step into it to interact with the teleporter.
Chapter 1, Level 1.2
The teleporter in this level needs three batteries to function. One battery is already on the charging platform. Find the second battery to your left as you enter the level, lying on the floor. The third battery is hidden inside a photo to the right of where you found the second battery.
Pick up the photo with the battery, rotate it to make the floor even, and place it on the ground. Walk into the photo to retrieve the third battery.Now, with all three batteries, place them on the charging platform for the teleporter, powering it up. Interact with the teleporter to proceed to the next level.
Chapter 1, Level 1.3
In this level, you'll find a lone photo taped to an empty canvas. Pick it up and rotate it as required. Place the photo on the ground, then walk into it, transforming the environment into a 3-D space with a door and a teleporter inside. Enter the new space, and next to the teleporter, there's another photo taped to a blank canvas. Pick it up, rotate it to make the floor flat and walkable, and then place it. Walk into the photo to retrieve the battery.
Now, you have the battery in front of you. Pick it up using the interact button (E), place it on the teleporter's charging platform, and this will activate the teleporter. Interact with the teleporter to move to the next level.
Viewfinder Walkthrough: Chapter 1, Level 2
Proceed up the stairs to your right and find the teleporter for Chapter 1, Level 2.
Chapter 1, Level 2.
Upon entering this level, there is a room to the right with a photo on a table inside. Pick up the photo, which is a picture of a bridge, and use it as a bridge to cross a gap to another platform.Continue across the newly-formed bridge to the next platform and pick up the photo of an empty arched door from the table there.
Place the photo to create a new doorway and proceed through it. On the other side, you'll find a teleporter on a high platform. Use the photo you picked up earlier to create a ramp up to the teleporter's platform and access it.
Chapter 1, Level 2.2
In this level, you'll find three photos of skies on a folding screen on the other side of a teleporter. Pick up the three photos and use one of them to cut open the cage holding the first battery. Next, pick up the battery and place it on the charging platform for the teleporter. The third battery is located inside a room with no doors. Use another photo to cut into the room, pick up the battery, and place it on the charging platform. Interact with the teleporter to move to the next level.
Chapter 1, Level 2.3
Go down some stairs and grab the photo taped to a canvas. Line up the photo to get closer to the teleporter without breaking it. Keep picking up the photo and placing it until the simulation breaks, taking you back outside the simulation. Head into the hall and into the server room, where you need to turn off and then on again all six buttons. After this, head back into the simulation and complete the puzzle with the recursive photo.
Chapter 1, Level 2.4 Optional Puzzle Level
Head to the bathroom of the hub to find the optional puzzle terminal.nIn this optional puzzle, pick up the photo from the side table in the floating living room. Rotate it so that the ivy is on the floor, and then place the photo to walk into it, falling off the edge where the ivy stops. At the end of this photo, there will be a table with another photo on it. Pick it up, rotate it until the paintbrush is on the floor, and place it to walk into it. This will lead you to a teleporter, and you can take the trolley to the next hub.
Viewfinder Walkthrough: Chapter 2, Level 1
After taking the hub, go to the next level's teleporter to start Level 1.1.
Chapter 2, Level 1.1
You start in a platform with a laundry line. Pick up the photo hanging on the line. Walk down the stairs to the other side of the glass-block wall, and cover the hole with the photo. This will create a platform where the other battery is located. Pick up the battery, then align the broken photos to create a new photo. Pick up this new photo, and it will power the teleporter. Interact with the teleporter to proceed to the next level.
Chapter 2, Level 1.2
In this level, head to the desk with the black chair and pick up the photo of a sky. Place the photo to create a bridge between two platforms. Cross the bridge and pick up another photo on the table. This photo shows an empty arched door. Place it to create a new door, then go inside and find the teleporter on a high platform. Pick up the photo next to the teleporter, and it will lead you to the next level.
Chapter 2, Level 1.3
In this level, you'll find three switches that need to be turned on. Use the first stationary camera to take a photo of the teleporter, then use the second camera to take a photo of the battery. Line up the photos to power the teleporter and proceed to the next part of the level.
Chapter 2, Level 2
Keep walking around the hub's circle until the trolley is visible, and there's a turtle table. Find the teleporter for the optional challenge.
Chapter 2, Level 4 Optional Challenge
Take one photo with the stationary camera, then use it to line up the teleporter and complete the level.
