Webby Awards 2023

The Webby Awards are awarded for excellence on the Internet presented annually by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a judging body composed of over three thousand industry experts and technology innovators. They recognize achievement in video, social media, websites, applications, games, virtual reality, and podcasts. There are many categories for which the awards are presented. Some of the categories are namely for: Websites, advertising and media, online film and video, mobile sites and apps, and social media. The selection process goes on like this, Each category has two winners, one chosen by members of The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and one chosen by the public during Webby People's Voice voting. Each winner delivers a five-word acceptance speech, which has become a trademark of the annual awards show. The award, dubbed "the Internet's highest honor," is one of the oldest Internet-related awards and is synonymous with the phrase "The Oscars of the Internet."

When are the Webby Awards 2023?

Now we will see when the Webby Awards 2023 is happening. The date of the show is finally been released, and we know when we can expect the Awards show to happen. The 27th Annual Webby Awards winners will be announced on Tuesday, April 25, and will be honored at an award ceremony on Monday, May 15 at Cipriani Wall Street.

Webby Nominations 2023

The Webby Awards is here, which is great news for the year, as we know another year has passed by and there are new nominations on the list. Each year the nomination process varies based on the deserving people. And now it's time for the Webby Awards, and this year also we have many people on the nominations list. The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences has announced the nominees for the 27th Annual Webby Awards, with this year's nominees including entertainment organizations such as Amazon, Apple, Audible, CNN, Disney, ESPN, HBO, MTV, Netflix, and Paramount, as well as celebrities such as Selena Gomez, Harry Styles, Doja Cat, Lizzo, RuPaul, and others. “The Webbys are in a unique position—every year we have the opportunity to see pivotal industry trends play out through our nominees,” said Ciel VanderVeen, Managing Director of The Webby Awards. “This year was no exception; not only were we blown away by the creativity and quality of the work, but we were inspired by the teams that created new innovations with AI technologies.”
