In addition to his work with the Braves, Caray is also known for his time as a broadcaster for the Fox Saturday Game of the Week and as the television play-by-play announcer for the Chicago Cubs from 1998 to 2004. He is the son of the late broadcaster Skip Caray and the grandson of legendary broadcaster Harry Caray.
Caray attended Parkway West High School in Chesterfield, Missouri, before graduating from the University of Georgia in 1987 with a degree in journalism. Prior to his work with Fox, Caray gained experience working for local television stations in Panama City, Florida, and Greensboro, North Carolina. From 1989 to 1998, he was the play-by-play announcer for the NBA's Orlando Magic.
