Conor McGregor is the star in MMA and UFC history, but he hasn't fought since suffering a leg injury during a loss to Dustin Poirier in 2021. Conor McGregor seemed to avoid injury after being struck by a car when riding his bike in Ireland.
Conor posted numerous videos of the aftermath of the accident on Friday to his social media. Conor can be heard saying, "I could have been dead there," as the driver of the car apologized.
Conor wrote, "Got a bang of a car just now from behind. A sun trap, the driver couldn't see me. Full speed straight thru me. Thank you God, it wasn't my time. Thank you wrestling and judo also. Having an awareness on the landing saved my life."

Earlier this week, Conor said the UFC has asked him to show up as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter series later this year. He did not reveal whether or not he had accepted that offer. He coached a previous season of TUF in 2015.
Also this week, Spanish officials confirmed to ESPN that Conor is under investigation for allegedly physically assaulting a lady on his yacht last summer. Conor has denied the allegations.

In the videos, Conor can be seen observing the scene and telling the driver, "All good mate, don't worry about it. That's nasty, I could have been dead there. Jesus Christ.. I got away with my life there, boys." After being given a lift with the driver who hit him, Conor said, "I'm here with Mick... Mick smacked me with his car.
"We've got the bike in the back, it wasn't our time, Mick, that's all. God bless, and we're f***in' still here, thank God. That's all that matters."
The timing of a severe injury would have been disastrous for Conor, who is due to come back to the octagon as soon as this summer.
What Is Mcgregor Doing Now?
Conor McGregor will be back in the USADA testing pool next month, so it means he will require an extended period of drug testing before he can come back. But if he has been cleared, Conor plans to get back into action after suffering a broken leg in his fight with Dustin Poirier that cost him 2 years of his career.
