Morgan Wallen is a country music singer and songwriter hailing from Sneedville, Tennessee. He was born on May 13, 1993, to parents Tommy and Lesli Wallen. His father was a local church pastor and his mother worked as a teacher. When he was a teenager, his family moved to Knoxville where he attended Gibbs High School.
While in high school, Wallen played baseball as a pitcher and shortstop, but a torn ulnar collateral ligament during his senior year ended his hopes of continuing to play in college.
