Ernie Johnson was absent from a Thursday’s episode on NBA on TNT because of the recent passing of his mom Lois Marjorie Johnson.
He was supposed to show up to comment on Brooklyn Nets-Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors-Boston Celtics games on January 19, 2023.
Ernie’s mom passed away on Tuesday, January 17 at the age of 94. The Inside The NBA host Ernie Johnson missed last night’s broadcast and then took time off to be with his family and grieve the loss of his mother.
