During her 2nd year at the college, Shoko, along with Geto and Gojo, checks up on Mei Mei and Utahime after not hearing from them for two days. After ensuring their safety and handling a spirit, Shoko witnesses Gojo being punished by Yaga for not setting up a screen. Shoko is later seen with Gojo and Geto as they discuss the importance of screens and engage in a disagreement regarding the strong protecting the weak and the role of sorcerers in the curse-filled world.

In subsequent arcs, Shoko assists in examining Yuji Itadori's body at the college morgue and later informs Nanami and Yuji that the cursed spirits they encountered were once humans who had been transformed and died as a result. During the Shibuya Incident, Shoko sets up a place to heal wounded sorcerers and works alongside Masamichi. She is also involved in the Culling Game preparations, providing explanations about cursed techniques to Maki and Ijichi.

In terms of abilities, Shoko possesses a rare skill of using a reverse cursed technique. She can convert it into output and apply it to others, enabling her to regenerate lost limbs and heal wounds, surpassing even Satoru Gojo's abilities in this regard. Shoko's skills as a doctor and her knowledge of sorcery-related to biology make her invaluable to the sorcerers of Jujutsu High. She has successfully treated injured individuals such as Nanami, Ijichi, and Ino during critical situations.

Additionally, Shoko's expertise as a doctor allows her to make important deductions and theories. She correctly identifies transfigured humans as the cause behind certain cursed spirits and theorizes about the effects of the Culling Game's cursed technique removal punishment.

In summary, Shoko Ieiri plays a crucial role as the primary doctor at Tokyo Jujutsu High, using her unique abilities to heal and save her comrades. She demonstrates knowledge in both medical and sorcery-related fields, contributing valuable insights to the ongoing events in the series.

Who is Shoko Ieiri in Jujutsu kaisen?

Shoko Ieiri is a character in the Jujutsu Kaisen series created by Gege Akutami. She is an alumna of Tokyo Jujutsu High and was a classmate of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto. After graduating as a jujutsu sorcerer, Shoko became the primary doctor at the school.

Shoko is known for her laid-back and nonchalant personality, which contrasts with the high-strung attitude of Ijichi and the playful nature of Satoru. During her time as a student, she would often remove herself from escalating situations between Satoru and Suguru, finding amusement in their banter. She would tease them, calling them "trash" when it came to matters involving Utahime. Shoko also took Satoru's sunglasses and wore them after he was punished by Yaga.

In general, Shoko didn't seem to take things too seriously. She openly smoked in public, even though she was still a high school student. Even after Suguru turned against the Jujutsu world, Shoko had casual conversations with him about his actions, openly discussing the accusations against him. She even fearlessly called Satoru to confront Suguru in front of him, showing no concern for her own safety.

As the school doctor, Shoko takes her responsibilities seriously, displaying a stoic demeanor. When Satoru was emotionally affected by Yuji's supposed demise, Shoko remained focused on performing an autopsy, noting Satoru's heightened emotions. Interestingly, despite quitting smoking, she sometimes indulges in a cigarette, particularly when feeling nostalgic about her high school days.

Shoko maintains composure while in the field, even when in dangerous situations such as the Shibuya incident, where she could be considered a high-value target. She is content being protected by some cursed corpses and assured Yaga that he didn't have to personally guard her.

Overall, Shoko Ieiri is portrayed as a laid-back and composed character with a dry sense of humor, yet she takes her duties as the school doctor seriously and is unafraid to speak her mind, even in challenging situations.

Jujutsu Kaisen Plot

Yuji Itadori is a remarkably athletic high school student living in Sendai. Before his grandfather's death, he imparts two important messages to Yuji: "Always help others" and "Die surrounded by people." When Yuji's friends from the Occult Club accidentally unseal a cursed finger talisman, they attract Curses to their school. In order to protect his friend Megumi Fushiguro, Yuji swallows the finger, becoming the host of a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna. As Sukuna possesses evil intentions, all sorcerers are ordered to eliminate him (and Yuji) immediately. However, when it becomes evident that Yuji can retain control over his body, Megumi's teacher, Satoru Gojo, proposes to his superiors that they postpone Yuji's death sentence. He suggests training Yuji to consume all 20 of Sukuna's fingers, ultimately eliminating the Curse. Meanwhile, a group of Cursed Spirits, including the cunning Mahito and the corrupted sorcerer Suguru Geto, plans a multi-layered attack on the world of Jujutsu sorcery.

Under Gojo's guidance, Yuji and Megumi train at Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School alongside their fellow first-year student, Nobara Kugisaki. However, during a mission gone wrong, Sukuna gains full control of Yuji's body, leading Yuji to sacrifice both their lives. Surprisingly, Sukuna resurrects Yuji, intrigued by Megumi. To protect Yuji from the intended execution, Gojo conceals his revival and continues training him. Yuji befriends Junpei Yoshino, who falls victim to Mahito's manipulation, driving Yuji to seek vengeance.

During an exchange event between Tokyo and Kyoto Jujutsu schools, Gojo reveals Yuji's survival. While the principal of the Kyoto school aims to kill Yuji immediately, the Tokyo students offer assistance. As Cursed Spirits attack both schools, Yuji, Gojo, and third-year Kyoto student Aoi Todo engage in battles, during which Mahito steals three powerful "Death Paintings" and summons them.

After successfully consuming several of Sukuna's fingers and defeating two Death Paintings with Nobara's help, it is revealed that Kokichi Muta, a disfigured second-year student from Kyoto, is a mole working with Geto and Mahito. However, in an attempt to protect his friends, Kokichi is killed by Mahito. On Halloween, the Cursed Spirits execute their ultimate plan by unleashing barriers over Shibuya, prompting a response from numerous sorcerers. Gojo confronts and exorcises the Cursed Spirits, but Geto seals him away in the Prison Realm using a special artifact. These events also unveil that the current Geto is not the original but rather Geto's corpse possessed by an ancient sorcerer named Kenjaku.

Yuji and his allies face Kenjaku's forces in a mission to rescue Gojo from the Prison Realm. Amidst the chaos, Yuji encounters Choso, the third sibling of the Death Paintings, and is initially defeated. However, Choso spares Yuji upon receiving a vision that reveals their brotherly connection. Jogo, a Cursed Spirit, forcefully feeds Yuji ten fingers, awakening Sukuna, who goes on a destructive rampage throughout Shibuya. Yuji then confronts Mahito, who fatally wounds Nobara. With Todo's assistance, Yuji successfully defeats Mahito. However, Kenjaku absorbs Mahito, unleashing his Cursed Technique to awaken thousands of new sorcerers and unleash a wave of Curses across Japan. Kenjaku aims to create a chaotic world filled with Cursed Spirits, reminiscent of the Heian period, the prime era of Jujutsu Sorcerers.

In the aftermath, Yuji, Megumi, Yuta Okkotsu (a second-year special grade Jujutsu Sorcerer), Yuki Tsukumo (an experienced sorcerer), Choso, and Maki Zen'in (a second-year student) team up to meet Master Tengen, an immortal Jujutsu Sorcerer with a part-Curse, part-human nature. Tengen reveals Kenjaku's plan to merge his consciousness with the human population of Japan. The Culling Game, a large-scale conflict orchestrated by Kenjaku, ensues, pitting sorcerers against Curse users across Japan. Maki confronts her own clan in a deadly encounter while retrieving essential Cursed Tools. Meanwhile, Yuji, Yuta, Megumi, Panda (a second-year student), and Kinji Hakari (a third-year student) search for a mysterious woman known as "Angel," who possesses the power to free Gojo from the Prison Realm and potentially rescue Megumi's step-sister, Tsumiki.

The group eventually finds Angel, but during this time, the Culling Game serves Kenjaku's purpose of amassing vast amounts of cursed energy for his plans. He also manages to kill Yuki and capture Tengen. When the group attempts to save Tsumiki, they discover that she has become the vessel for a reincarnated sorcerer. Seizing this opportunity, Sukuna takes control of Megumi's body, resulting in Tsumiki's death. Sukuna and Kenjaku reunite, but the main group, aided by Angel's powers, successfully releases Gojo from the Prison Realm. Now unsealed, Gojo aligns with Sukuna and Kenjaku, agreeing to engage in a monumental battle on December 24th. The main group prepares for the ultimate showdown, making plans and gathering their strength for the decisive confrontation.
