What Happened to the Collector in The Owl House?

In this storyline, The Collector kidnaps several characters, including Hunter, Camila, Willow, Gus, and Amity, and turns them into puppets, along with Lilith. He also traps Luz, Eda, and King in their nightmares. However, Luz manages to escape and frees Eda and King. The Collector confides in "Raine" that their plan isn't working, and he reveals that King is a titan and that the Boiling Isles titan is still alive. "Raine" encourages The Collector to spend time with Luz, Eda, and King, and they play games together.

Eventually, Luz, Eda, and King take The Collector on a tour of places that helped them bond and try to convince him to change his ways. They discover that Belos has possessed the titan and attempt to befriend him but fail, leading to Luz sacrificing herself to protect them. The Collector is confused by the concept of death and tries to revive Luz, but cannot. Eda and King attack Belos in anger, and The Collector tries to stop them. However, Luz returns as a human-titan hybrid, and they defeat Belos together.

Afterward, The Collector holds up the Archive House as it collapses, but is hit by Belos's infection. The others save the puppets and defeat Belos. The Collector returns to normal and decides to leave to do some soul-searching. He returns Lilith, Amity, and Camila to The Owl House and returns Hooty to normal in front of Lilith. King gives him Francois as a parting gift.
