Disney+ is an American subscription-based video on-demand streaming service owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company's Entertainment division. It offers an extensive collection of films and television series produced by The Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney Television, with dedicated hubs for Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic content. Additionally, some regions also feature the Star brand.

The technology behind Disney+ was developed by Disney Streaming Services, formerly known as BAMTech, which originated from MLB Advanced Media in 2015. Over the years, Disney increased its ownership share and eventually made it a part of its corporate restructuring in preparation for acquiring 21st Century Fox.

Disney+ was officially launched on November 12, 2019, in the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands, with expansions to other regions in subsequent months and years. The service received praise for its vast content library, but also faced criticism for technical issues and certain content omissions.

Nevertheless, it quickly gained popularity, attracting ten million subscribers on its first day and reaching a significant milestone of 157.8 million global subscribers as of April 1, 2023.

• "The Trial - Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhokha": In this Hotstar special, Nayonika Sengupta (Kajol) defends her family in both life and the courtroom when they face a scandal. This Indian adaptation of The Good Wife also stars Jisshu Sengupta, Sheeba Chaddha, and Kubbra Sait. Release date: July 14.
• "IB 71": Based on true events, this patriotic spy thriller follows IB agent Dev Jammwal (Vidyut Jammwal) on a top-secret mission to save the nation. Witness the untold story that influenced the outcome of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Release date: TBA.
