Users will be able to edit any communication they've already sent within 15 minutes thanks to the new edit message function. This feature will be particularly useful for making a few word changes rather than deleting the entire message. However, this function will only work with the most recent version of WhatsApp and will only let users modify conversations, not picture captions. Currently, the feature is being developed for iOS users and should be available for beta testing shortly. Meanwhile, WhatsApp is also testing a new feature that will allow iOS users to adjust the picture resolution on their devices.

The feature will enable users to modify any sent message within 15 minutes of sending it. This will be useful for correcting mistakes or including additional information in the original message. While WhatsApp already allows users to delete sent messages, this feature will be helpful for users who only need to edit a few words.
The edit message feature will only work on the latest version of WhatsApp and will be limited to editing messages, not media captions. Currently, the feature is under development for iOS users and will be available for beta testing soon. Users may receive the feature in a future app update.
In addition to the edit message feature, WhatsApp is also testing a new feature for iOS users that allows users to adjust image quality on iOS devices. The feature is currently under beta testing and will be available to everyone soon. Currently, the update of this feature is only available for iOS beta testers who are part of the Test Flight beta program and carries version 23.4.0.70.
WhatsApp compresses photos to save data, so users need to convert their media into documents to send high-quality photos. However, with the new update, WhatsApp will allow users to send high-quality images on the available internet network. The feature is already available for Android users, and WhatsApp is working on bringing the same feature to Desktop users.
To change photo quality settings, users can go to WhatsApp Settings > Storage and Data > Media Upload Quality and change the photo quality settings according to their preferences.
