Destiny 2 released its new update on 1/24/23 at 10:46 p.m. The developer estimated that their solution and live stream occurred between 3 and 4 a.m. And the PST was released on January 25th; the subject is the timeline. The studio confirmed Destiny 2's offline status on its Twitter account, promising to share more information about when the servers will reopen as soon as those details are available. How Long Does Destiny 2 Maintenance Last Today? 

From bug fixes to introducing new content, developers often need to take down their games in order to improve the overall gaming experience in the long run. Though some titles have maintenance during off-peak hours, Destiny 2 updates roll out at 5 p.m. UTC. The patch cycle continues to be at 5 p.m. This schedule means maintenance will usually take place shortly before 12 p.m. CT.  Destiny 2 servers usually go down 15 minutes before reset  and are back by the time the patch hits.
