To find the missing son in Like a Dragon Gaiden, follow these steps. The worried mother mentions she last saw her son in Shofukucho, a big street south of Sotenbori’s river. Since this street covers a large part of the map, Joryu needs to search carefully. Along the way, people might talk about a child, but those hints aren't very helpful.
The key is to explore the street going south between Shofukucho and E Shofukucho, just west of Ashitaba Park but not on the street around the park. Look for a boy wearing a green shirt and jacket standing near a wall. When Joryu talks to him, he confirms he's the lost child.
