To increase your chances of encountering a Skeletal Horse, make sure it's evening in the game, typically from around 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. During this period, the bony creatures are more likely to spawn.
4. Approach and mount:
When you spot a Skeletal Horse, approach it cautiously. Sneak up behind the horse and press the A button to mount it. Be prepared to counter the horse's attempts to throw you off the saddle by spamming the L button. Another technique is to use an Ice Fruit attached to an arrow to temporarily freeze the horse, preventing it from fleeing while you mount it.
