Pokemon Scarlet And Violet

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are role-playing video games set in 2022 that were created by Game Freak and released for the Nintendo Switch by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. They represent the start of the Pokémon video game series' ninth generation. They were published on November 18, 2022, after being first announced in February 2022. Scarlet and Violet, in contrast to other games in the Pokémon series, are set in an open environment. Based on the Iberian Peninsula, the games are set in the Paldea region. The player can choose between three different tales. 103 new Pokémon are introduced in Scarlet and Violet, along with two new regional forms.

Critics gave Scarlet and Violet a variety of ratings. The game's open-world design and narrative were appreciated, while its initial technical issues and aesthetics garnered criticism. The games were Nintendo's biggest launch ever, selling over 10 million copies in their first three days. They collectively sold more than 20 million copies by the end of 2022, ranking as the fourth-best-selling Pokémon games of all time.

Where To Find Bagon In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet?

Bagon, Shelgon, and Salamence are a trio of powerful Dragon-type Pokemon that were first introduced in Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, and have since been included in every main Pokemon game, up to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to evolve Bagon and Shelgon in these games. To begin, players can find Bagon in various large caves throughout Paldea, but it's recommended to search the eastern section of the map, specifically East Province (Area Three), due to its vast size and abundance of caves. This will increase the chances of finding Bagon in the wild.

Another location to find Bagon is in Dalizapa Passage, which is located north of The Great Crater of Paldea and south of Glaseado mountain. Upon arrival, players will notice a deep hole in the ground with a Pokemon center in the middle. They can either use Koraidon or Miraidon to jump down the hole or take one of the many Cavern entrances that lead to it. Although this location is not as open as East Province, it has the added advantage of being a cave where players can encounter several rare Pokemon, including Bagon and Frigibax.

What Level Does Bagon Evolve?

Bagon, also known as Tatsubay in Japanese, is a Dragon-type Pokémon that was introduced in Generation III. This blue, bipedal reptilian creature resembles a Pachycephalosaurus, possessing a large, round snout, triangular eyes, yellow circular ears, and a yellow lower jaw with two upward protruding teeth. Its head is covered in three thick, gray ridges that extend down to its neck, and it has a triangular patch of yellow on its underside. Bagon's arms are stubby and digits, and it has short legs with two toes on each foot.

Bagon can be found living in rough terrains with cliffs and rocks, and it dreams of flying. In an attempt to achieve this, it jumps off cliffs but is unable to fly, resulting in frustration. It often smashes its head against large rocks in its disappointment, which causes its head to become as hard as the steel due to the continuous bashing. Bagon's powerful body and well-developed neck muscles support its hard head, allowing it to shatter rocks with ease. Despite this, Bagon is quite solitary and prefers not to form groups with others of its kind. It is believed that its habit of head-bashing, combined with its strong belief, influences the cells necessary for its evolution. Bagon evolves into Shelgon at level 30, which then evolves into Salamence at level 50.

When Does Bagon Evolve In Pokemon Violet?

To evolve Bagon into Shelgon, you need to reach level 30, which may take some time if you opt for traditional grinding methods. However, there are alternative methods you can use, such as completing Tera raid battles to obtain EXP candy, which can quickly level up your Pokémon. Auto Battle features can also help Bagon engage in battles and level up rapidly. Once your Shelgon reaches level 50, it will evolve into Salamence. The same methods used to level up Shelgon can also be used to level up Salamence. Once Salamence has reached level 50, you will have a powerful Dragon-Flying type Pokémon at your disposal.
