Where To Find Demiguise Statues And Moon In Hogwarts Legacy?
Throughout the world of Hogwarts Legacy, there are a total of 33 Demiguise Statues and Moons, with 10 located in Hogwarts, 9 in Hogsmeade, and 11 in other parts of the world. The remaining 3 can be collected during the main quest mission "The Caretaker's Lunar Lament." In order to complete this side quest, you must first acquire the Alohomora spell, which will allow you to unlock locked doors and progress through the game.
As you collect the Demiguise Moons, your spell level will increase, enabling you to open higher-level locks and access better gear that can be upgraded. It's worth noting that some of the statues require the Level II version of Alohomora, which can be unlocked by returning nine Demiguise Moons to Gladwin Moon. To collect the statues for Gladwin Moon, you'll need to do so at night. You can change the time of day by pressing R3/RS on console or F on PC while the map is open.
Demiguise Moon Locations
Locations of Demiguise Statues in Hogwarts:
- Astronomy Wing: In Professor Fig's Classroom, go to his office and find the statue on a table near the fireplace at the back of the room.
- Great Hall: On the right side of the dining table, unlock the level 1 door and find the statue on a table in the center of the room.
- Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower: Unlock the toilets and find the statue behind the stall with the sign on the door.
- Library Annex: In the restricted section of the library, go to the basement and find the statue just past the eye chest.
- Divination Classroom: Near the Library Annex, climb the spiral staircase and locate the statue at the back of the class.
- Hogwarts North Exit: Turn left out of the gate, go towards the staircase, unlock the door in the wall, and find the statue on your right.
- Transfiguration Courtyard: Through the door by the fast travel point, unlock the level 2 door to find the statue.
- Potions Classroom: Just off the Library Annex, go left and open the level 1 door into the next hallway. Find the statue in the level 2 room.
- Beast Classroom: Inside the hut off the bell tower, unlock the level 2 door to find the statue.
- Map Chamber: In the Hogwarts cistern, turn past the stone dragon statue and find the level 1 door with a statue inside.
Demiguise Moon Locations Astronomy Wing
Directions to Find Demiguise Moons in the Astronomy Wing:
- To find the Demiguise statue in Professor Fig's Classroom, teleport to the floo flame in the Astronomy Wing and enter the door ahead of you. Go up the stairs to his office and find the statue at the back of the room.
- To find the Demiguise statue in the Muggles Studies Classroom, teleport to the Transfiguration Classroom floo flame in the Astronomy Wing. Turn around and go through the doors on your left. Keep going forward and go down all of the stairs on the right. Enter the door and go down even more stairs until you reach the dragon statue. Turn right and find the door with a level one lock on your left. Use Alohomora to unlock the door, and find the statue on your right.
- To find the Demiguise Moon in the Talking Gargoyles room, use the Transfiguration Courtyard floo flame in the Astronomy Wing. Turn around and enter the doors to the Defence Against the Dark Arts Tower. Go right up the small set of stairs and find the door with a level two lock and two talking gargoyles on both sides of it. Use Alohomora to open the door, and collect the Demiguise Moon from the statue inside.

Hogwarts – The Library Annex
- To find Demiguise Moon #3, go from the Library Annex to the Divination Classroom. Head to the top of the stairs and a magic ladder will drop down. Climb up the ladder to locate the statue at the back of the room.
- To find Demiguise Moon #4, go from the Library Annex to the Potions Classroom. Go through the double doors and take the spiral staircase on the left. Open the locked door and head down the corridor. Unlock the first door on the left to find the statue straight ahead.
- To find Demiguise Moon #5, go from the Library Annex to the Central Hall. Head down the stairs and go to the door on the right of the back wall. Turn right before the spiral staircase and go through the double metal door. Take the staircase down, turn left and follow the corridor to the lower level. Just before reaching the single wooden door, you will find the statue next to a green lamp.
The Man Behind The Moons Hogwarts Legacy
The Man behind the Moons is a side quest in Hogwarts Legacy, and this guide will assist you in completing all the objectives. The location of the quest is in the South Wing Faculty Tower, and Gladwin Moon is the quest giver. The quest is level 11 and requires you to finish the main quest "The Caretaker's Lunar Lament." The reward for this quest is Alohomora II & III and 180 XP. Mr. Moon will teach you a more advanced form of Alohomora once you've found all the Demiguise statues. You'll need to search for the statues in Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and many hamlets, and you can only collect the moons from the statues at night.
The objectives for the quest are to return Demiguise Moons to Gladwin Moon nine times and then thirteen times. Once you've collected nine moons, return to Mr. Moon in Hogwarts' South Wing Faculty Tower. You can find all the Demiguise statue locations in Hogwarts Legacy. Finishing this objective unlocks Alohomora II to open level 2 locks. Collect thirteen moons to finish the second objective, and you'll unlock Alohomora III to open level 3 locks.
After completing the second objective, you'll need to wait to hear from Gladwin Moon. You can collect the last ten Demiguise Statues for a bronze Demiguise Dread during this time. Eventually, you'll receive an owl post from Piers Pemberton. You'll need to meet him in Hogsmeade near the Three Broomsticks. Once you've met him, you'll need to talk to Gladwin Moon again in the South Wing Faculty Tower to finish the quest.
