Where to Find Ganondorf in Tears Of The Kingdom?
Ganondorf can be located beneath Hyrule Castle, specifically in the Depths situated at the very bottom. This location serves as the starting point for the quest known as Tears of the Kingdom. To find the entrance to Ganondorf's lair, you can use the coordinates (-0230, 0868, 0123). There are multiple steps involved in reaching Ganon during the Tears of the Kingdom quest, and it is essential to begin by landing below Hyrule Castle on its southern side.
To make your way there easily, utilize the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower. From there, you can glide all the way down to the Gatehouses located on the lower tier of Hyrule Castle. Prior to embarking on this journey, it is advisable to craft an ample supply of Stamina Elixirs and recipes that provide resistance to Gloom. By ensuring you have a steady replenishment of these resources, you will be able to reach Ganondorf regardless of your character's level.
Once you have arrived at the castle and find yourself standing on the ledge, it is time to take a leap into the vast cavern below. You will need to dive and float downwards until you reach a point called Gloom's Approach. It is at this juncture that the true path leading to the game's most significant battle begins.
Ganondorf TOTK Location
Once you have successfully glided to the bottom of Gloom's Approach beneath Hyrule Castle, it is crucial to turn around and face south. If needed, refer to the chasm marker on your map to ensure you are headed in the correct direction. Directly south of your landing spot, you will come across another small cavern entrance guarded by a Like Like.
Proceed by running towards this entrance and gliding down. It is important to note that most areas covered in this guide will require a combination of gliding, climbing, and encounters with Gloom and formidable enemies. This particular cavern will feature two openings at the bottom, and it does not matter which one you choose.
As soon as you glide through one of the openings, you will encounter three electric Keese. Do not be overly alarmed by them as they pose minimal damage. However, they are capable of stunning you. To mitigate any risk, swiftly glide past them. Then, advance towards the nearby ledge and employ your glider to reach the broken bridge on the left side.
Exercise caution, as falling in this area will result in a devastating blow from the central enemy in the arena. Even missing a single jump led to instant death for me. It is imperative to reach this entrance without succumbing to defeat at the bottom in order to proceed further along the path to Ganondorf in Tears of the Kingdom.
After surpassing the Keese and progressing to the next segment of the path, you will encounter a brief respite from enemies. Run through the hallway enveloped in the gloom until you reach a room where debris is falling. Leap onto the debris located furthest to the right and utilize the Recall ability. This will elevate you to the next area, functioning like an elevator. Take a moment to gather yourself here, as the path ahead only becomes more treacherous.
Upon disembarking from the debris, another path lies ahead, leading to yet another drop. Yes, it may come as a surprise, but the path persistently leads to more chasms. Rest assured, it does not cease. Aim to land away from the gloom, and be prepared for another perilous stretch of the path ahead.
