Ahkdar Statue in DMZ Location

The faction missions in Season Four of DMZ have been completely revamped to offer an exciting adventure across all the major locations in DMZ. From the rainy shores of Ashika Island to the newly-discovered canal city Vondel, you will embark on a journey like never before.

In this season, the faction known as Black Mous, which usually operates solely in Al Mazrah, has expanded its operations. As a result, you will be tasked with various missions that require you to travel to each destination in DMZ in search of specific items that the faction needs.

One of the tier four missions, called "Failed Bombing," presents a unique challenge. You must deploy and locate a bomb situated at the base of the Ahkdar Statue. However, the precise location of the statue within the DMZ remains a mystery. Can you find its whereabouts and successfully complete the mission?

Where to find the Ahkdar Statue in DMZ?

Located at the heart of Ahkdar Village on Al Mazrah, the Ahkdar Statue serves as a prominent attraction. You can pinpoint its exact position on your map at coordinates F6. However, it's important to note that the statue's main courtyard and the surrounding village are heavily guarded by enemy troops. To navigate this area safely, it's advisable to swiftly enter using a vehicle, should you manage to locate one. The statue's courtyard can be accessed through four different entrances.

We suggest avoiding the eastern and southern entrances as they tend to be teeming with enemies. Instead, consider approaching from the northwest for a better chance of success. Alternatively, you can opt for an aerial approach. There are several ladders and zip lines leading to nearby buildings, allowing you to survey the area before proceeding. In the center of the courtyard, you'll find the colossal Ahkdar Statue, which is the primary objective of your pursuit.

Occasionally, you may come across a shop and a workbench on either side of the statue. These provide opportunities to craft weapon attachments or engage in bartering for goods. If you're undertaking the Failed Bombing faction mission, your task involves defusing the bomb located at the statue's feet and successfully extracting it. Completion of this mission segment marks the initial accomplishment in your DMZ mission.

What is DMZ mode in COD?

DMZ presents you and your squad with a challenging mission in the Al Mazrah map within Warzone 2.0. Your objective is to infiltrate the area and navigate through a series of tasks. Unlike the Battle Royale mode, where the goal is to be the last one standing, DMZ focuses more on completing specific objectives and safely escaping. The map is populated with AI guards and enemy players, each with its own set of objectives, making the mission more challenging and dynamic.

These missions encompass various tasks such as locating and collecting specific items, eliminating marked NPC enemies, or taking out rival operators in designated areas. This ensures a wide range of mission types, adding to the overall variety of gameplay. Once you have accomplished your objectives or wish to leave the area, you must locate designated exfiltration points. However, be cautious as these spots may be guarded by clever opponents who are also vying for escape.

Safely exiting the map with your acquired loot is crucial. Failure along the way carries severe consequences. You will face penalties, losing the loot you were carrying and potentially even losing the weapon you had equipped, which could have been an invaluable asset during your mission. This game mode draws inspiration from popular titles like Escape from Tarkov and Hunt: Showdown, both of which have garnered a dedicated fan base.
