Buddy Teevens (October 1, 1956 – September 19, 2023) was an American college football player and coach. He played as a quarterback at Dartmouth College, where he was later the head coach from 1987 to 1991 and from 2005 until his death. Teevens also served as the head football coach at the University of Maine (1985–1986), Tulane University (1992–1996), and Stanford University (2002–2004).

Teevens was born in Pembroke, Massachusetts, and grew up in nearby Scituate. He attended Dartmouth College, where he was a four-year letterman in football and hockey. As a quarterback, he led the Big Green to an Ivy League title in 1978 and was named the conference's Player of the Year. He also played hockey for the Big Green, helping them to a third-place finish in the 1979 NCAA tournament.

After graduating from Dartmouth in 1979, Teevens began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at the University of New Hampshire. He then spent two seasons as a running backs coach at DePauw University before being hired as the offensive coordinator at Boston University in 1981. In 1985, he was named the head coach at the University of Maine, where he led the Black Bears to a 13-9 record in two seasons.

In 1987, Teevens returned to Dartmouth as the head coach. He led the Big Green to back-to-back Ivy League titles in 1990 and 1991. In 2002, Teevens was named the head coach at Stanford University. He led the Cardinal to a 4-8 record in his first season, but improved to 5-7 in 2003. However, Teevens was fired in 2004 after a 1-11 record.

In 2005, Teevens returned to Dartmouth as the head coach. He led the Big Green to an Ivy League title in 2015 and again in 2019. He was also named the Ivy League Coach of the Year in 2015.
