His return to the NHL occurred in 2011 with the Philadelphia Flyers, and he continued competing in the league for seven more years before being assigned to HC Kladno by the Calgary Flames in 2018. Jágr's illustrious career spans an impressive 37 professional seasons (as of 2024), making him the player with the longest playing career in the history of professional ice hockey.
