Why did Frank Ocean Pull out of Coachella?

Frank Ocean withdrew from his scheduled headlining performance at the second weekend of the Coachella festival, as announced by his representatives on Wednesday.  This was due to injuries he sustained in his left leg, including two fractures and a sprain. Blink-182, who had performed to a huge crowd during the first weekend, was announced as Ocean's replacement for the main stage on Sunday, after Bjork.

Another act, still unannounced, is set to follow Blink-182 on the new lineup that was tweeted out on Thursday. Tom DeLonge, the founding Blink-182 guitarist, and vocalist, first leaked the news of their Sunday night appearance on his Instagram account, before the post was quickly deleted.

According to Ocean's representatives, the artist had initially planned to perform, even though he suffered an injury on the festival grounds leading up to the first weekend. However, due to his leg injuries, he has been advised by doctors not to perform on the second weekend.
