"Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League" is a video game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. It's an action-packed shooter that continues the story from the Batman: Arkham series, specifically following the events of Batman: Arkham Knight.

In this game, players take control of four infamous supervillains—Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark—tasked by Amanda Waller to stop Brainiac's alien invasion in Metropolis. The twist? The Justice League has been brainwashed, and the Suicide Squad's mission is to take them down.

With an open-world design, players can freely explore Metropolis either solo or in cooperative mode. Originally set for a 2022 release, the game faced delays but finally hit PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on February 2, 2024. A deluxe edition granted early access to eager players from January 29, adding excitement to the highly anticipated launch.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League  Gameplay

"Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League" offers an action-packed gaming experience set in the open-world backdrop of Metropolis. The gameplay centers around four playable characters—Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark. Players can dive into the action solo or team up with friends in a cooperative multiplayer mode for up to four players. In solo play, you can effortlessly switch between characters, letting the AI control the others.

Each character comes armed with two weapon classes, some shared among them, and showcases unique combat styles and ways to get around. Harley Quinn, for instance, wields a baseball bat and uses Batman's grapple gun for movement. The game features a skill tree progression system, enabling players to experiment with various skills and customize their characters on the fly.

Excitingly, the post-launch content is delivered in "seasons," promising regular free updates with fresh locations and additional playable characters, ensuring an ever-evolving and engaging gaming experience.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Plot

In "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League," Arkham Asylum detainees—Deadshot, Boomerang, Harley Quinn, and King Shark—are set free by Amanda Waller. Forced into the "Suicide Squad" with explosive implants, they're tasked to thwart Brainiac's attack on Metropolis.

The brainwashed Justice League, including Green Lantern and a resilient Superman, poses a formidable challenge. Wonder Woman, refusing Waller's orders, believes she can save her comrades. The Squad, gathering weapons and allies, uncovers Brainiac's plan to control multiple universes.

Teaming up with an alternate Luthor, they expose Waller's hidden agenda. Confronting brainwashed heroes, they disable Brainiac's defenses but face setbacks. Superman survives Gold Kryptonite, and Wonder Woman's sacrifice proves in vain. Luthor-2 suggests capturing Batman for a countermeasure.

Despite defeating Superman, Brainiac captures the Squad, threatening multiverse domination. Rescued by Luthor-2, they confront Brainiac directly, capturing him but inadvertently causing his demise. Earth-1 is saved, and the Squad, now aware of multiple Brainiacs, gears up to tackle the remaining threats across different universes.
