The Voice Season 25

The new season of The Voice, an American TV show where people sing and compete, started on February 26, 2024, on NBC. Carson Daly is hosting again for the 25th time. The coaches this season are John Legend and Reba McEntire, who have been on the show before, along with Chance the Rapper, who took a break last season and is back now. Josh Sanders

Josh Sanders, from Team Reba, sang "White Horse." Before he sang, he said the song had everything he loved about country music. On stage, he showed his love for the music with a strong and perfect performance. He didn't need to sing again; his performance was good enough to get him into the finale.

Madison Curbelo

Madison Curbelo from Team Dan + Shay sang "Time After Time." She dedicated the song to her hometown in Westfield, Mass., inspired by a past contestant, Javier Colon. Her performance was mostly good. Shay Mooney expressed that Madison was someone he would want his kids to look up to, someone who radiated life. He mentioned being incredibly proud to be a part of Tae's journey.

Serenity Arce

Serenity Arce, from Team Chance, sang “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” and got a C grade. She's 17 years old and chose to sing the acoustic version of Ariana Grande’s song as a dedication to Jupiter, Fla. She sang nicely and showed how gentle her voice could be.

Maddi Jane

Maddi Jane, from Team Chance, sang "Greedy" and got a C grade. She started well but when she started moving, her singing sounded weak. Her performance was entertaining to watch because she knows how to perform on stage.

Nathan Chester

Nathan Chester, from Team Legend, sang "Try a Little Tenderness" and got an A grade. He chose a great song that showed his love for his hometown, Chicago. He sang Otis Redding's classic song really well, showing that he's not just a star, but even more than that. Nathan has so much charisma, and his voice is amazing. It's like it came from heaven.

Bryan Olesen

Bryan Olesen from Team Legend sang "Against All Odds" and got a C- grade. John said, “I loved it. We all loved it. I really felt you connecting to the lyric. I loved how you held each note with patience, subtlety and grace. It made the performance so beautiful and effective and moving.”

Karen Waldrup

Karen Waldrup from Team Dan + Shay sang the song "Stay" and got an A grade. Her coaches wanted her to show more feelings in her performance, and she did it perfectly. Karen didn't just sing the song well, she acted it out so well that it could lead to a career in acting. After a lot of average performances earlier, hers was really good. Shay praised her for showing her emotions, especially because she was wearing a sleeveless dress.

Asher HaVon

Asher HaVon from Team Reba sang "Irreplaceable." He talked about how growing up in Selma, Ala., taught him to overcome challenges. Reba said, “You coming out and singing this Beyoncé song, I am absolutely proud of you. You floored me. Your stage presence was magnificent.”

Tae Lewis

Tae Lewis from Team Dan + Shay sang the song "Amazed" and got a B+ grade. He sang it at his hometown in Goldsboro, NC. His performance was good, showing off his versatile voice. Dan said it was iconic. Shay said, “You can’t send this man home. You’ve fought for every single ounce of success you’ve had on this show.”
