World War Z Overview
"World War Z" is a cooperative third-person shooter video game developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive. The game is based on the novel of the same name by Max Brooks, which also served as the inspiration for the 2013 film of the same name. The game was released on April 16, 2019, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In "World War Z," players take on the role of one of four survivors in the aftermath of a global zombie outbreak. The game features four different campaigns set in New York, Jerusalem, Moscow, and Tokyo, each with its own unique storyline and characters. Each campaign consists of multiple levels, and players must work together to complete objectives, fend off hordes of zombies, and escape to safety.
The game's main gameplay mode is called "Swarm," where players must survive against waves of zombie attacks. "Swarm" can be played on several difficulty levels, with higher difficulties increasing the number and strength of the zombies.
