Wrath of the Lich King Game Info

The Burning Crusade was the first expansion set for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft. Wrath of the Lich King is the second expansion set. It was released on November 13, 2008, and it became the fastest-selling computer game ever at that time after selling 2.8 million copies on its first day. The new continent of Northrend, home to The Lich King Arthas and his undead minions, was one of the game's many additions to the game universe. Players needed to be at least level 68 in order to go through Northrend, with level 80 serving as the expansion's maximum. The Death Knight, a hero class that begins play at level 55, was the first to be introduced.

Wrath of the Lich King Gameplay

The fictional universe in which World of Warcraft, or WoW, is located is based on the planet Azeroth. Outland was a second planet that was introduced in the first expansion, The Burning Crusade. Both Wrath of the Lich King and Cataclysm significantly altered numerous other continents by destroying some and revealing new ones. Northrend, the icy northern continent of Azeroth, was added in Wrath of the Lich King. Pandaria, the southern continent that had previously been concealed by a persistent mist cover, was added in the subsequent expansion, Mists of Pandaria. The planet of Draenor, an alternate-history version of Outland before its partial destruction, was introduced in Warlords of Draenor. The Broken Isles, a chain of islands near the Maelstrom in the midst of the Great Sea, and the shattered planet Argus, the Burning Legion's headquarters, were both seen by adventurers during the Legion expansion. Kul Tiras and Zandalar, two new island continents, were inserted into the heart of Azeroth as part of the seventh expansion, Battle for Azeroth. With the most recent expansion, Shadowlands, a realm made up of five main zones such as Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenweald, Revendreth, and the Maw were introduced.
