Launched on June 1, 2017, Microsoft's Game Pass is a subscription service that provides users with the ability to download and play a wide variety of video games on Xbox consoles and Windows PCs from a constantly rotating library. Users can access these games for as long as their subscription remains active. Game Pass subscribers also enjoy discounts on game purchases from the service's library and associated downloadable content (DLC).
Game Pass comprises two separate products: Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One, Series X, and Series S consoles, and PC Game Pass for Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs.
