Then, a second Montrose comes behind him in a suit, depicting that the villainous Montrose in his head was an imagination.

When Nadia's boyfriend, Edward, gives her leaked candid shots of Joe walking around with a bag of Indian food in many different pictures, she starts to probe around Joe's apartment when he's away and learns his real name. She visits the restaurant and scans the area for a way into the cellar, where she discovers Marienne in the infamous glass box.

In the eighth episode, Joe was the one who abducted Marienne, drugged her, and placed her in the box. Then, Montrose explains to the audience how Joe dreamed everything and reveals that he actually committed all of the murders this season, continuing to be the exact person he was attempting to hide. As Nadia explains Marienne's plan, Goldberg can be seen heading towards him to retrace his steps to determine where he deposited Marienne.

Adam Pratt, played by Lukas Gage, was killed by Lockwood in episode nine because he was thinking of Kate and Lady Phoebe too much. You Season 4 Part 2 Ending Explained

Goldberg discovers Marienne in the glass box, unconscious, holding an empty medicine bottle. Thinking she is dead, he takes her out and places her on a bench in the park. While Nadia and Edward cooperate to set Marienne free, viewers can observe how their connection is growing. After killing Lockwood, Joe intends to commit himself by jumping off a bridge, but he manages to survive when the police arrive in time to save him. This is after an intense chat with the ghostly Montrose. Nadia informs Edward about their plan(s), which culminated in Nadia visiting Marienne at the park after Joe dropped her off there and providing her with medication to counteract the effects of the wake-up medication she had taken. She left London, possibly in search of her daughter.

In one scene, when Nadia searches the flat, Edward keeps watch, but when they find clear evidence, Edward is not in the getaway vehicle. Nadia turns around to meet Joe, who then shows her the body of Edward, for which she is later falsely accused and put in jail. He informs Nadia that he has been given the opportunity to "atone" for his past actions and live out the rest of his days as "an honest man." In New York, where the entire series began, he and Kate are seen conducting an interview with a journalist, bringing Joe and white males everywhere full circle.

You Netflix review

It's reminiscent of a lot of Joe's performances from the prior three seasons. There is another reason why there are a lot of famous characters in these final five episodes of season 4. Joseph Goldberg is finally recovering from the effects of his past deeds. In particular, all the women he addressed as "You!" before moving on for some reason.

In the ninth episode, Joe experiences a psychotic break and imagines various situations involving the ex-wives he's murdered, including Quinn from Seasons 2 and 3 and Season 1's Guinevere Beck (played by Elizabeth Lail) (played by Victoria Pedretti).
