Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, a game based on the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game and Trading Card Game, was announced during the initial Yu-Gi-Oh! Digital NeXt presentation on July 20, 2021. Initially scheduled for release in Winter 2021, the game was launched without prior notice on January 19, 2022, on various platforms except for Android and iOS. The game is an official and free-to-play simulator that allows players to collect digital cards, build decks, and engage in online challenges with other players in Duel Mode, or play through card stories and learn how to play in Solo Mode. With over 10,000 cards available for collection, the game offers players a vast range of features and gameplay options.

A Tier 1 Deck is a highly competitive Deck that is considered the standard of the current meta. Most high-ranking competitive players use it, and it is encountered frequently as players progress in rank.
A Tier 3 Deck is the weakest of the four tiers and often lacks the effectiveness of those in Tiers 1 and 2. These Decks may appear promising on paper but may not be able to compete effectively in the current meta.
