Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is an action-adventure game released in 2023 for the Nintendo Switch. Developed and published by Nintendo, it serves as the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild from 2017. The game maintains the open-world environment of Hyrule but with expanded areas for vertical exploration. The player assumes the role of Link, the series' protagonist, who teams up with Princess Zelda to confront Ganondorf, the main antagonist, as he threatens to destroy Hyrule.
The concept for Tears of the Kingdom emerged when ideas for downloadable content (DLC) for Breath of the Wild grew beyond the original game's scope. The development of the game was led by Nintendo's Entertainment Planning & Development (EPD) division, with Hidemaro Fujibayashi returning as the director and Eiji Aonuma as the producer, both of whom worked on Breath of the Wild.
A teaser trailer was showcased at E3 2019, and a full reveal took place at E3 2021. Initially planned for a 2022 release, the game was later delayed and launched in May 2023.
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Igoshon Shrine Guide
In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players will have the opportunity to take on numerous challenges, one of which is the Igoshon Shrine. This game features a variety of shrines, each presenting its own level of difficulty. The Igoshon Shrine, in particular, leans towards the tougher side compared to others. As players progress through the game, they will come across the Igoshon Shrine while making their way to the Water Temple.
It is highly recommended to complete this shrine, as it will provide valuable knowledge on how water orbs function within the upcoming puzzles. Understanding the mechanics of water orbs will prove beneficial in overcoming the obstacles and tasks that lie ahead in the Water Temple. The initial puzzle in Igoshon Shrine serves as a straightforward introduction, demonstrating the ability to swim within water orbs.
By utilising this skill, players can ascend to the next level. Positioned on the left side, a chest repeatedly descends, presenting an opportunity to employ a water sphere to catch it. The Ultrahand ability allows for the manipulation of water orbs, enabling players to drag them as needed. To the right, water orbs descend from above. By utilising the Recall ability on a descending water sphere, players can time their jump inside it and ride it upwar
Subsequently, in the next area, the water orb dispenser showcases the bouncing nature of the orbs. Players can jump into one of these bouncing orbs and ride it to progress to the next area. In the final area, the Ultrahand comes into play again as players use it to pick up a slab and attach it at a 90-degree angle to the stone on the rail. By sliding the stone on the rail in front of the water sphere dispenser, the water spheres are propelled into the air.
Players can seize the opportunity to ride one of these ascending orbs before employing the paragliding ability to safely descend towards the finish line. With the completion of these steps, players will have successfully conquered Igoshon Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, having utilised various abilities and strategies to overcome the shrine's challenges.
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Gameplay
Tears of the Kingdom expands upon the gameplay mechanics introduced in the previous installment of the Legend of Zelda series, Breath of the Wild (2017). This new game introduces several notable abilities that enhance the player's experience. One of these abilities is called Recall, which enables the reversal of time for objects, allowing players to undo certain actions or retrieve lost items.
Another ability is Fuse, which grants players the power to combine different weapons and materials they discover, resulting in the creation of custom-made weapons tailored to their preferences. Additionally, Tears of the Kingdom introduces the Ultrahand ability, which enables objects to stick together. This functionality opens up exciting possibilities for players to construct modular devices, vehicles, and other structures within the game world.
The Ascend ability allows players to traverse surfaces above them, providing a new dimension to exploration and navigation. Furthermore, the Autobuild ability, fueled by a special currency called Zonaite, allows players to summon any structure they have built using the Ultrahand, streamlining the construction process and offering convenient access to previously constructed elements.
These new abilities in Tears of the Kingdom not only expand the gameplay options available to players but also encourage creativity and strategic thinking. By incorporating these innovative features, the game offers a fresh and engaging experience for fans of The Legend of Zelda series, introducing new ways to interact with the game world and uncover its secrets.
