Sundelion Location in Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom

Looking to find Sundelion in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? While you may come across a few of these bright flowers scattered around Hyrule and the Sky Islands, they are rarely found in large quantities. However, there is a specific location that offers a bountiful harvest of Sundelions in just one trip. The ideal spot for farming Sundelions is on the assortment of Sky Islands above Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower. To reach this location, start by traveling to Eldin Canyon's Skyview Tower.

Refer to the map screenshot below to help you navigate:

Once you arrive at Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower, enter the tower and launch yourself into the air. This will allow Link to descend onto the first section of the Sky Islands without much effort. Upon landing, you should spot a few Sundelions growing in the grass. Collect them and add them to your inventory. Keep an eye out for a Soldier Construct that may arrive on a minecart and challenge you to battle.

Defeat it if it appears, and you can use the minecart to ride the tracks to the next section of the Sky Island for more Sundelions. Be sure to gather the Sundelions you find in each section. To reach the top level of the second island, stand under the surface of the overhanging island and use Ascend to climb through it. Repeat this process if necessary until you reach the top level. On the top level, you'll discover additional Sundelions and various other herbs and flowers to collect.

Once you've explored the second island, use Ultrahand to drag a minecart onto the track and attach a fan to it. Jump inside the cart and deliver a melee attack to power it on, propelling yourself to the third Sky Island. The third Sky Island offers another two to three Sundelions for your collection, bringing the total count in this location to between eight and ten Sundelions. This method provides the most reliable way to gather Sundelions in large quantities.

If you need even more, you can simply pass the time using a campfire or inn until the Sundelions on these Sky Islands regenerate. Now you know exactly where to find Sundelions in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for your foraging needs. Happy collecting!

How to Farm Sundelions?

To effectively acquire Sundelions in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, a traditional farming approach is not applicable, meaning you cannot plant and harvest them. However, you can gather a substantial amount by repeatedly visiting areas where they abundantly grow. The respawn time for plants in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can vary, resembling the respawning system found in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

In Breath of the Wild, there was a one percent chance of a plant respawning every 60 seconds of active gameplay after it was picked. Tears of the Kingdom appears to follow a similar or closely related system. Therefore, the recommended strategy is to collect Sundelions, engage in other activities within the game for approximately an hour, and upon returning, some of the previously picked Sundelions should have reappeared, allowing you to gather additional ingredients for your anti-gloom recipes.
